Looking to buy a firearm tomorrow.

I'm looking to buy a firearm tomorrow. I live in the east bay area.

    I already own:

    M&P 9
    M&P Bodyguard .38 +P
    Sig Sauer 1911
    M&P 15-22
    AR 16"
    AR 20"
    MOSSBERG OVER UNDER 12 GAUGE

My budget is around 800 or so.

Anyone have any suggestions and why?

I've always wanted a Beretta like in the original resident evil.

    Get a 308. M&P 10 or save up for a Scar 17.

      I just rented the 92FS.
(looks like a 92F modified was used in resident evil)

      Good shooter.
Grips are big to me and my hands are not small.
      I suggest renting first.

A Tikka T3 in 7mm-08. Everyone should own a hunting rifle.

Get a .357lever gun to go with your 38. You got to have a lever gun in the safe

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I've been reading up on these https://www.atlanticfirearms.com/com....html?Itemid=0
It's no SCAR, but fits your budget and fills a void in your arsenal. For a little more you could go with a PTR, but my research leads me to believe the C308 is a pretty damn good value.

Funny, originally I thought "Oh someone is making the jump into gun ownership" and instead it's "I have an itch for yet another ..."

If I purchase this I will have to have it shipped to an FFL and pay dros and transfer fee yes? I like.

Yes, must be shipped to FFL. Be sure to check what the FFL charges for a transfer fee. I've paid $5 to $100 plus for a transfer fee. It's whatever they want to charge. Depending on where you're located an LGS could have one in stock. I've seen them in the rack at The Gun Range in the Sac area.

Hmm. I plan to visit a few "fun" stores tomorrow.

I tend to think I want to buy one thing and end up with something completely different.

I don't know if anyone can relate.

I was just at City Arms East in Pleasant Hill.

They had a S/A full rail TRP and a MC Operator, well above your budget, but sometimes ya just gotta say screw the budget and live a little.
