Heard that (take it as you will), someone had a lawsuit concerning mail order ammo in Orange County and won, so many ammo firms (mail order) will not ship. Have no idea if its true

        From AIM's web site:

-CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS: No sales of Ammunition Delivered to Los Angeles, all of Orange County or San Francisco. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

This sux. I'm technically not in Los Angeles. neither is my shipping address. Maybe I can still order?

Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch: And the Lord spake, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to 3. No more. No less. 3 shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be 3. 4 shalt thou not count, nor either count thou 2, excepting that thou then proceed to 3. 5 is right out. Once the number 3, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'

            UPDATE:
I just ordered 4 more ammo cans of South African. I feel like an ammo dump. Whoohoo! I guess I have to build a compound now and declare sovereignty.

Anyway, I talked to a sales guy at AIM and he said that they haven't been shipping to Los Angeles, all of Orange County or San Francisco for a couple of years now. He said the owner felt the local laws change so frequently in Los Angeles and San Francisco that he didn't want to ship to those cities. As for Orange County apparently there was some litigation a few years ago having to do with a supplier or distributor so again AIM's owner wanted to avoid any problems. It looks like the anti's are gaining ground by intimidation.
