Was going through some old gun stuff and found a couple rifle mags that were never assembled. Still in the bag as they were sent from the distributor, the springs were folded over to decrease space and fit in the plastic bag. I never gave it any thought then, but now, a few years later, is there any harm to the springs by leaving them that way? I didn't open the bags to see if they were permanently bent. My gut tells me they are fine, but what if I leave them like that for several more years? What do you guys think?
