    ruger mark I question?

What is a decent price to pay for a ruger mark I standard in excellent condition?

I don't know, but I've got a Ruger Mk I Target for sale.

$200 would be a decent price.

Wow 200? I seen two at a local shop one was a 4 inches and the other was a 6 inches going for 400 a piece I was thinking about picking both up in really good condition. But now I think I should hold off

Bull barrel is MKI - tapered barrel is Standard. A lot depends on year made barrel length and of course condition. Without knowing more $3-500.

I paid $600 for mine but, it's a little unusual. For a basic, tapered barrel model, I'd pay between $250 and $300 depending on my mood. BTW, here's mine:

Yes the ones I seen were the standard model. I looked the year up it showing 1975. They look in immaculate condition.

So, you're saying that $200 would NOT be a "decent" price?

I could be wrong but how can there be a Mark I if nobody knows there is going to be a MarkII. I thought that early autos were just standard or target?

If you're finding them for 350, buy them up.

russ, the early ones before the Mk I were the Standard, but there's a Mk I also. Mine says so right on the side.
