If your close to whittier, check out lambert guns/pawn. The most organized and fastest transfers I have ever done and $35.

They legally can't refuse to PPT a gun unless it is illegal or they have cause to believe the buyer is prohibited.

Not sure what you're implying; ALL Turners have only charged the $35 for at least the past decade. And for that matter, Turners Norwalk is about the best/easiest location to do PPTs. I've done them at several Turner's over the years - Norwalk has always been the best out of them all.

The Norwalk Turners I especially HATE. If a retailer (FFL dealer) Takes in a gun to sell as used consignment, How the hell does the SELLER fail a background check? That was their response when I went to pick up after my wait period. They gun went back to the seller (so they say). They tried to offer me a store credit - no way! I wanted my money back. Then I got a BS line that they had to have the corporate office cut me a check which took 2 weeks.

PPT from other locations are hit/miss.

I was at the Turners in Norwalk for a PPT once. It took them over two hours to process a trade.

As of late PPTs at turners take forever. But they're just busy so it happens.

That is if you don't mind dealing with a low integrity unscrupulous FFL who will lie to your face, and make up non existant legal requirementsa in order to pad their bottom line a couple of bucks.
