Leupold new reticle for scope 5 weeks and I had to pay shipping both ways.

I worry about looks because resale is always present and I personally would never buy or sell something that looks like crap. I take pride in detail.

If you plan on reselling it I would leave it stock. You can drop a bunch of cash on upgrades that may not have much value to a potential buyer.
