3 to 4 weeks is not that odd of a wait time for a custom made to order barrel.

Get your money back from CC and find another source to order from.
If a vendor welches on their promise, they are not worth giving your money to. There are many other honest vendors to buy from.

4 weeks for an on-spec barrel. Actually, 6 to 8 weeks sounds about the norm. I'd give it more time. I've waited up to 2 years for some custom guns, and currently have one that's been 12 years in the making - ALMOST finished.

What kills me is this new instant-service society due to influence of the internet. I recall a time when EVERYTHING was 6-8 weeks, no matter what.

Either way, good luck. I don't think they'll renege, just take longer than planned. I would give them at least another 2 weeks before raising hell. Your credit card company will still accept the dispute after that time.

I would call CC company and do my due diligence.
