When will springfield armory replenish the shops?

I've been waiting four months now for the California legal EMP to be back in stock but still nothing as of this date. I've checked 15+ sites and they all say out of stock. My LGS says its on account of SA first fulfilling govt and bigger contracts, then inventory will trickle down to the smaller shops. But my question is, is this really the reason and if so how long will this "trickle down" take?

It's sad I saved the money up and now can't even spend it on the gun I want :-(

If your gun dealer is a Springfield Armory dealer, a call to Springfield sometimes frees up a gun.

I checked 2azone.com and it says out of stock... and the tombstone doesn't have the 9mm PI9209LP model, just the 10

I take it there's no way to check on when batches will be delivered right? It'll just suck if they're gonna be out for 5+ months cause this money will definitely burn a hole in my pocket

If it helps, I can tell you they are worth the wait. I trust it more than any other pistol I have for CCW

Springfield is busy producing all of the new models we can't have. I've got an EMP, will never sell it. If you're located near Sac, The Gun Range has one.

Buds and 2a both have models not legal here in our "wonderful" state.. I've already signed up on the wait list for the model legal here but that's been awhile already. Forgot to call my LGS today to ask him if he's a SA dealer but I will tomorrow... Guess there's nothing to do but wait and keep checking the for sale forum here and gunbroker :-)

Call your dealer and ask. If he is not a SA dealer, ask who the distributor is. Then call SA and say you have been waiting with no luck, they have the best customer service in the industry.
