    Pleasanton Gun Expo

Driving by the Alameda County Fairgrounds today, saw an ad for a gun "expo" on the Fairgrounds sign. April 2nd and 3rd.

Live locally and this is the first I've heard of it. T/S had a show a couple years ago after their long court battle.

This is a new promoter that I'm unfamiliar with. Mountain Aire promotions.

The last show T/S had, they were not allowed to advertise it. Also ammo sales were not allowed at the show.

Does anyone know anything about this show? Are those restrictions still in place?

A gun show without ammo is just a jerky show.

I went to the gun show a few years ago after the court battle was ended with the county. None after that as far as I'm aware. I bought a magazine I didn't really need just to support a vendor. I think the restrictions are just to annoying for most people to bother with it. Thanks a lot alameda Co.

Do they have deals at gun shows or is it just the standard price?

Most firearms are overpriced. Often you can buy cheaper at the local store.

Now, does the $10 include parking, or do they gouge you on that?

Public Safety Displays (aka people who don't want you to have guns), Kids Activities, and some guy doing all kinds of stupid unsafe firearm handling tricks. $10 is less than the Cow Palace show so I guess I'm in.

Looks like parking is $10 according Pleasanton fairground website events.

The same production co just did a show in Lodi two weeks ago. Nothing special.
