I've had a pretty "problematic" month myself... 3 AR-15 lowers, 1 complete AR-10, 5 AR-10 Pmags, 1200rds of 5.56, 3250rds of 22lr, 500rds of .308.... And before the month is over, I'll probably add a new 10-22 and a few more stripped lowers

This is how people wind up in the news with a "stockpile of weapons and ammunition" and such.

I've heard this before from those that can't afford to do so or whose wife won't let them. Can it happen? Of course but I have known of and seen collections as extensive or nearly as so or much more extensive as mine where the owners have had them for many years and had 0 problems. Usually when you see thise news stories there is a reason the collector drew attention to himself or he broke some laws.
