Last week they replied to an email I sent saying they were in stock ready to ship. I was going to buy one from them, but I ran into a deal on something else that I couldn't resist.

The Knights Standalone M203 stock runs about $1,500-$2,000 when you can find them on the civilian market. Many folks are using airsoft copies like those from G&P costing less than a third of that instead. Just do a Google search and you'll find places to buy them. According to some very knowledgeable people they are holding up well with real M203s slung underneath, believe it or not.

Are the Spike's launchers more structurally sound than the Cobray versions? I did see images of one guy's arm and hand, the aftermath of the Cobray version that disintegrated on him while he was using it with his own reloads. Granted, ANYTHING will blow up if you do it wrong, but this guy was careful and suspected that the Cobray simply just gave out.

I am willing to bet he tried to fire something that was not meant to be fired out of there. They do make 12g adapters for it and some people think you can put a 12g shotgun round in there and be okay, you can spot those people easily - they have one hand.

I don't think so. I recall his incident was him using regular reloads of his own. Maybe that was the problem, but it seemed like it was weak construction of the launcher that was at fault.
