I'm sorry you guys are having such a run of bad experiences at Hunters. I've been there many times. The people have been good, sometimes overworked, but still always good every time i've been in.
Are the prices high? I've not found them to be any higher than any local gun store I've been too. As they seem to have a constant stream of purchasers in the store, Id say many others agree on that point. Turners is 20 miles away, if the prices were too high, they'd have no business.
As to the complaint i'm seeing about knowledgeable. I've NEVER found that to be the case. If anything, they're over cautious. They, perhaps, error to much on the side of legality. Considering the Attorney General and state of CA, I can't say as I blame them.
I've bought firearms online, from San Jose, from Watsonville, from Salinas and just about everyplace you can think of. These guys are just fine. Sad to see them getting slammed by a few bad experiences.Comment

You just bumped a 4 year old thread? It is possible that your experience during the past 4 years that this thread has lie dormant, do not reflect the reality on the ground 4 years ago.I'm sorry you guys are having such a run of bad experiences at Hunters. The date.... always check it. If you are trying to get out a good word for a gun store, bumping a thread full of disgruntled comments that no one has seen in 4 years is probably not the best way to do it.Last edited by SkyHawk; 03-27-2020, 10:20 AM.Comment

^ yep
Sometimes I think inactive threads should be automatically locked after a set period of time, to keep things relevant. The Mods can reopen a thread if it deserves new attention/posts.sigpicComment

Isn’t there a warning at the bottom of older threads, to prevent this?"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them" - Richard Henry Lee
