    CZ Tactical Sport as HD?

So the more I shoot my 9mm TS the more I want the 40. Am I way out of line for wanting the 40 for my HD weapon? Obviously I would want to ensure it shoots like the 9mm but I would assume it would be equally awesome. I know people prefer less expensive guns in case you did ever have to use it and it becomes evidence. I am not too concerned with that as if I ever had to use it I think buying another would be the least of my concerns. What do you guys think?

    Ummm... NO!

If the thought of seeing that gun collected for evidence doesn't make you cringe, then you may need your head checked... kidding of course.

Seriously though, its kind of like buying a Picasso to decorate your outhouse.

Haha, it would be replaced of course if something ever did happen.

What if I spend a lot of time in my outhouse? :-)

IMHO the trigger is way too light and the reset is very short too.

Have you ever accidentally double-tapped it ?

I know a dude here in SoCal that carries an STI on his duty rig.

If it works then why not?

Or if you spend a lot of time in the 'dog house'.

One of my requirements for a Home Defense gun is that the gun have a rail to mount a light. So for me it is a deal killer without, but I like the TS. What is your current house gun and does it have a light mounted?

I just bought a CZ TS in .40S&W for competition use. I'd say that the trigger is way too light (< 2 lbs) for an HD gun.

Rotate between a few different models. Most have rails with lights but I don't necessarily feel like it has to.

I always recommend something with a light for HD.

                          I use a Glock 23 FDE (of course) With a Surefire X300.

I have a TS in 9 and the trigger is way too light for HD

The first time i recently shot one i took the first shot and a second immediately and accidentally followed. I have a couple other cz's and had no idea what an amazing trigger it had. I fell in love! I agree with the needs a light for home defense opinion and think the triggers just too light.

Get yourself an xd or a m&p instead. It's cheap it has rails for light and you wouldn't mind too much if it gets taken away as an evidence.

As for me a light is a necessity for HD gun. I would like to identify the target before pulling the trigger
