Good on you OP. I lost my cellphone a day after my daughter was born. Someone picked it up, could have returned it, but chose to keep/sell it. I could care less about the phone, but all the little videos and pictures of our day old daughter were lost. Wish more people were like you. Again, good on you bro.

Y would why not report all of the persons information to the police?
It was a stolen phone from a kid ?
Some how a KID was robbed of his phone. Hmmm could there be other phones stolen from kids?

From being stolen to being bough was about 12 hours.

I'd file a police report with lots of detail.

You need to meet at the cellular provider that the phone was bought from when you buy a used phone off Craigslist. That way you can verify the phone is not stolen and make sure you can activate it. If the phone is stolen they will refuse to do this.

I buy phones to resell. If you don't want to go to the carrier and wait a while you are pretty safe using an online esn checker. Swappa.com/esn works. I've yet to be burned with over 200 sold. I'm overdue tho.

Report it and see if they can put a trap on your phone. His next harassing call might be the one that hangs him.

I think you can request that from your provider as well, but I'm not sure.
