    Spikes "The Jack"

    Anyone know if Spikes billet "The Jack" is on California doj approved list of lowers? Looking into ordering but don't know where to start to check. Thanks in advance.

    there is no list of "approved lowers".

    there is a list of prohibited rifles/shotguns/handguns by make and model, being on that list makes the listed firearm an AW.

      There is no approved list of lowers, only a banned list which hasn't been updated since 2000.

          Its not that lowers are banned, its that certain handguns are banned, and the Jack doesn't come as an 80% as far as I know.

          so what that means to you is that I am pretty sure you can't buy it as a pistol lower to make an AR pistol (am I correct on this?)

          You can still buy it and build a Rifle on it no problem though.

              Plenty of lowers are banned. DPMS Panther, Colt Sporter, Bushmaster XM15, just to name a few.
