Any Decent Ranges near Vegas/Henderson...

Will spend a work related week in the area. I was wondering if there are any well lit ranges that one can go and practice in the area with one's own weapons AND ammo.

Not interested in the "shoot a machine gun with our ammo" places or that require one to buy their frangible ammo at inflated prices.

I like American Shooters, stay away from the Gun Store, it's a tourist trap.

Beware, that the indoor ranges I know of require TMJ ammo.

How about the Clark County Shooting Complex? It's just north of Las Vegas. I've been there once several years ago.
Call ahead for wind conditions! They won't put up targets if it's windy.

Best indoor range in LV. Nice clean place and good lighting. Avoid going there on weekend as it is packed with Renters and tourist with entourage. Otherwise a very nice range with separated rifle and pistol areas. I go there every time I am visiting Vegas. Nice and pleasant ROs and staff too.
They also have the nicest show room with two long walls of glass cases packed with just about any gun you want to look at.

Boulder Rifle and Pistol, 20 miles from Las Vegas. Not shooting at the Ritz but great value for your dollar. Nice to have private bay for shooting at any distance you desire and at your own pace. Inexpensive memberships

Pro Gun Club in Boulder City. I'm a member. Free golf karts to get between all the different berms. Full on restaurant, and bar to get a drink to cool off in between shoots. You can rent NFA guns. You can shoot steel up to 600 yards away.

On a weekday it's so quiet and easy, I sometimes shoot alone on the rifle range.

Thanks. I will be driving back on a Friday, so might be able to stop there on the way home for some shooting as I am in no hurry. They close at 5PM, so not usable during the week for me.

Is there ammo restrictions at the ranges in Vegas.... specifically steel case like Wolf or Tulammo 223 / 7.62*39 / 9mm?
