    What type of 1911 Sight cut?

    Hi y'all. Could you guys identify what aftermarket sights would fit this 1911? It's a Isralie Arms/KSN M5000 commander 1911. I'm no expert on sight cuts. I did a quick google search and this gun has almost no information. It's my Dads 1911 and he is looking to get a fiber optic front sight and a black rear adjustable sight.

      You might want to take it to a gun Smith to find out. It could be Novak on the back idk sorry for not being much help. If it is possible to get clean close up shots of the front and back sight that might help.

          I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow. We'll take it to a Gunsmith to be sure.

              Also, I've always heard the Colt XSE front sight was a special cut. But I'm pretty sure this is a Novak Cut. Did newer models swap to a common Novak Cut?

                  You may want to post on the gunsmithing section you might get more people helping but yeah the it looks like th Novak sights on my ria tactical.
