I think for the hand gun test we will build a stand that holds them top and bottom, maybe even holds them together instead of spacing them apart. We weren't expecting the phones to just shear into two pieces

my buddy has been doing this since '10, running to the range the day a new 'i' device comes out after standing in line all night only to destroy it for entertainment..

he uses my .50bmg Barrett and has used a couple of my other guns..

here's some early vids I did the shooting for..

the first one.. not my best work but considering the pressure.. Richard was the first one in line for almost a day at the apple store, small crew of all watching me, and the target so close I had to kentucky windage about an inch of holdover above the top of the phone to get near the center of one paper test we did and the background didn't lend to keeping the accuracy of my aging eyes.. entertaining still I guess

lol, he's has a lot of vids with 10M+ views.. Richard is a swell guy, send him a pm through one of his channels and I'm sure you guys could get together for some fun shooting.. my 2 and 4 year old kids keep me tied down for now but I'll get back out there occasionally and a lot more when the kids can join me
