    fair price for glock 30?

i am considering buying a glock 30 from a friend and was curious what you guys think a fair value might be. i don't know a ton about this particular gun or glocks in general, but i have shot it before and it shoots well and seems to be in excellent condition.

it is a glock 30 sf, 45 acp, slide says "30 austria .45 auto"

my guess is that it is about 7 or 8 years old, but has been shot very sparingly. the original case, paperwork, etc. would be included in the sale.

any idea of a price that would be fair to both parties?

Those are $545 brand new at Riflegear and I imagine priced similarly everywhere else. Up to you what you think its worth used. Really depends on condition but sounds like $500 would be fair for both of you under the current market.

I don't know the dynamics of your friendship but I had a beautiful like new PX4 Storm that my friend drooled over for over a year. Finally he saved some money and I let him have it for $400. Included an extra mag too. Considering the price of the extra mag ($35), I think he made out like a bandit. Ultimately, he loves it and I'm happy to see the gun in a good home.

Having said all that, I think $450 would be great. But $500 would be reasonable friend price.
