    CA legal????

    CA legal? I want one...
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

I guess it's an AOW, since it's not a shotgun but a firearm. AOW's are legal to own in California, I'm sure.

I wouldn't buy one, doesn't look super practical

So its basically a pistol shotgun, but the brace takes it over 26" so federally is no longer a pistol. Guessing the forward grip does not count a a vertical foregrip, so its not an AOW. Its similar in concept to what Franklin Armory did with the XO26.

I CA I would guess that it would be a pistol, so the Roster is a problem.
        And: CA Penal Code 12020(c)
        (1) As used in this section, a "short-barreled shotgun" means any of the following:
        (A) A firearm which is designed or redesigned to fire a fixed shotgun shell and having a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length.

Was going to say magazine outside the grip so it needs a BB, but then realized it is not semi-auto, so perhaps not. Are there any other single shot pistols that use a detachable magazine?

PC 17190 says a shotgun is a shoulder weapon.

          Not this thing.

          PC 17180 says
          17180.
As used in this part, “short-barreled shotgun” means any of the following:

          (a) A firearm that is designed or redesigned to fire a fixed shotgun shell and has a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length.

          (b) A firearm that has an overall length of less than 26 inches and that is designed or redesigned to fire a fixed shotgun shell.
Overall length is 27 1/4, but barrel is 9 1/4. So, this is a CA SBS.

ETA2: while BATF finds 'shoulder weapon' significant in its definition of shotgun, CA does not use that language in its SBS definition; it's the same reason the Taurus judge and similar are CA SBS.

ETA: please update your PC reference list - the code was renumbered in 2012.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

It does not matter what ATF says.
And besides. Obamas ATF will make up new rules and
make it something NFA or just ban it.

            Striker shotguns
Atkins device- they banned the springs-
            Soda can launcher
            Shoe strings
            and on and on

CA DOJ will do whatever they want.

Hey look here. That looks fun.
