    CA Safety requirements

If CA has a handgun safety requirement of a magazine disconnect and chamber indicator, how are all the 1911 manufactures able to sell in CA?

    Am I missing something?

That's a requirement for new semi-auto handguns to be added to the roster.

That law was only in effect for a few years before the microstamp requirement kicked in and effectively banned any new semi-auto additions to the roster.
(Patent for microstamp expired or was bought out, whatever.)

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
