    AND THE RESULTS ARE IN!!!

My survey on CalGuns was a big success thanks to everyone who participated! Thank you, folks!

We had 289 respondents to the survey that ran for about 4 days. ( 9 quick questions that focused mainly on cleaning firearms) The results were enlightening for me, and I hope you'll enjoy seeing how others answered these questions. As promised, here are the results. I apologize for the image quality, as it did have to go through some file conversions to be able to post here on the forum.

Step? For me, it's analyzing that data. Cross referencing it other questions. Counting heads. Basically seeing if the market is receptive to what I want to offer.

Great hopefully all works out good. Depending on what you have to offer maybe you can get some reputable outlets/Calgunners to participate in samples/discount of products/services for product/service reviews.

You know what? That's a hell of an idea. Let me chew on that one for a while and see what I can come up with. I do really appreciate the participation and CalGuns for the avenue for surveying. If get up and off the ground with this, there will be something special for CGer's.

Essentially, but with a new and better standard. A couple of other services as well. I won't go in to detail, just because with all the work I've been putting in over the past 4 months, I want to be first to market. I will say, when it comes time to start business, I will be the next evolution of firearm maintenance. I hope you will give me a chance to earn your repeat patronage.
And it all hinges on a determination from the ATF. [emoji29]

                        Interesting, thanks!

I wasn't surprised about the gender results but the age results.. wow! Almost half the site is over 40 years old, which does help explain all the 'get off my lawn' sig lines.

You're right. It means we need to start attracting younger shooters. The less the younger generation shoots and venerates the old tradition, the more likely they will be to fight the onslaught against 2A rights.

Perhaps the OP is going to have a truck full of bikini clad chicks going house to house polishing folks guns......
There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet.

Ha! Funny, I remeber a business where a bikini babe sold terrible coffee and did damn well.
