I went over there to buy an AR detent Spring. I got a smile and a reply, it's going to take a long time for someone to help you with that. I guess my 3-4 dollar purchase wasn't good enough for someone to go out back and get one.

I got my bonus at work today. I want an SPO1. They had it there. I will wait for Saturday and buy it out of town. Guns Direct most likely.

I stopped in there for the first time on Saturday. I was asked no less than ten times if I needed any help in a friendly manner. I didn't, but I was made to feel welcome.

There were three clerks behind the center counter having an inappropriate conversation with their backs to the customer. I chalk that up to bad training and management.

They certainly have an interesting assortment of firearms and have pretty high prices on modern handguns. Some of their used long guns (non-AR's) seemed reasonably priced. Not much reloading stuff. There was an "estate sale" of used (but apparently new) Lee reloading dies in many current and oddball calibers. Good prices there.

Make sure you tell them why.

They're local for me...about 5 minutes away. I purchased a Benelli M4 and an HK pistol a couple of year ago. They are on the pricey side but their service is generally good. I think it sort of depends on how busy they are....weekends can get hectic there. I usually go on weekdays if I can.

They are about a 30 to 40 minute drive for me. Both times I have gone I have had good experiences . Bought apistol the first time Eddie helped me and he was pretty cool. When I went for the pick up it was pretty empty . I was helped by another guy and he was pretty chill too. As of right now I don't mind making the drive here to buy stuff. Only thing I wish they had was the number system for those busy days. I noticed that a lot of complaints were from that.

                They need:
                1. Take a number or signup system
                2. Cashier made available for the small items

I called yesterday to see about doing an out of state transfer.

They said "if we're in a good mood we'll only charge you $100, if we're in a bad mood its $130"....
