Quick question regarding red dot mounts

Hello guys. I currently have a PA red dot mounted on a PA lower 1/3 mount. I am getting a bobro lower 1/3 quick detach mount in soon and want to swap the mounts. Wanted to know how much, if any, will my zero move after swapping mounts. I currently have my red dot zeroed at 50 yards.

Re-zero/confirm zero after every time you change/remove optics/mounts from the firearm.

You'll most likely need to make an elevation adjustment. If you're switching to an absolute co-witness, you should be able to make the adjustments close enough to get on paper at 50 yards by simply lining it up with your irons. Then it's just fine tuning. I just used this method recently when switching to a completely new RDS (1/3 co-witness to absolute) and was only 4" off at 7:00 at 50 yards.

Both mounts are lower 1/3.

Imperfections in the mounts are certainly going to move your zero. How much it moves depends on the imperfections.
