Having tons of those exact locks in my house; I can say any magnet strong enough will open it. A standard frig magnet or one found in common toys will not.

Also a hearty pull from any adult will snap the plastic latch too. So if you wanted in, you could get in with no tools required. Your flag would be slightly damaged, but you would have a shotgun.

This is dead on answer. It's meant to keep the kids out and that is all. If a adult wants in a hard pull will pop it open. For this reason these locks are great. In a emergency and needed ur weapon asap you would not even reach for the magnet just yank the door hard.

Thanks guys we put alot into them and feel it's the perfect size for the wall as any bigger it looks to intrusive for a decor stand point. Very nice! Perhaps if a full sized shotgun (18" for HD) was positioned diagonally, the flag might not have to be so big.

I also think the sliding stripes for the lock is a very nifty idea.

I gonna get some demos and will have different guns cut in including 1911. It won't fit a full size ar15 i will do a ar15 pistol demo cut soon.

How much time between order/payment and pickup?

Right now I'm not taking orders for payment as I don't have the inventory/shipping lined up. Still need some time to get everything sorted and worked out with my cabinet shop I'm gonna use to help me build. I'm not gonna be other companies I know of that take payments and ship things 2 months or more later. Stay tuned for updates thanks!
