Proper holster

Kydex or stiff leather molded to your specific gun, always. But I am interested in the sticky holster as well... What is the retention like in that thing? It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel. -
Yikes!
I use a sticky holster around the house with my Glock. I always put it on the gun slowly and surely. For outside the house, rigid is the only way. I like kydex.
I will say that there are lots of people who use soft holsters that haven't shot themselves. Like 99.99999%. I'd say they are gtg when handled correctly and tossed at the slightest sign of warping.Comment

Sticky holster is gtg. It's more ridged than cheap nylon holsters and forms to the gun a bit after being worn awhile. It keeps the gun in place but you couldn't turn it upside down or anything. It's very comfortable. I was surprised how well it works.Comment
