    What's wrong with this ammo buy...

    Turner's only about 7 miles from me, but I thought what the heck. Anyone notice something very wrong with this?

          I paid about half that price per round for Herters when it was on sale at Cabelas, FMJ and HP, and the shipping was free, and no tax.

              Exactly. Shipping was worst than CTD. I was hoping to be able to pickup at the store, but they didn't offer that as an option. Guess I'll never order anything from Turner's online. Almost had a heart attack when I saw the shipping charge.

                      They might have the weight per item incorrect.
                      Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

                          Boxes of 15 rounds?! They should be 20 round boxes.

                          Also, like mentioned above, that shipping price is ridonculous.

                                      shipping!

                                      I passed on a rather large order from midsouth because the shipping charge was 1/3 of the cost of the order. Got the same stuff from Amazon for slightly more per item, but free shipping.

                                      They emailed "...don't forget the items in your cart!" I emailed back stating the shipping charges were way to high...crickets. So yeah, I don't shop there anymore.
