I haven't shot mine yet, but I have the 9mm. Three mags loaded in the nightstand. I'm going shooting on Monday, so I'll see how my Sig likes them after I run a fair bit of FMJ through it.

I've shot the 45 ACP, no feeding issues in my 1911's.

It will do the job, but there are better HP's out there.

My rule of thumb is, is this item worth X amount of cash spent on my ammunition or firearm worth protecting my life with.

Usually for HP ammo I spend a little extra to get the premium Hollow Points because my life is worth 40 dollars for a 30 Rounds.

Just my 2 cents, it decent Hollow Point, but much better stuff is out there for a little bit more money.

I use a major brand of FMJHP that I find readily available & keep some around. This ammo needs to be tested to perform in a select weapon & function 100%. I will spend significant cash finding the proper round I want, I'll test 2,3 even 400 rounds (various ammo) to make sure.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

My 45 ACP version feeds well and runs fine. You really need to test it to make sure it works with your gun. Good luck!

Usually functions fine, ballistics and expansion are crap. I go with HST or Underwood for a defensive load

Maybe a good alternative for training with hollow points to see if your gun feeds reliably instead of going through $1+/rnd??..

They're basically Black Talons. Good defensive ammo.

Are you thinking of Winchester SXT? Totally different round here, it seems. This probably works okay, but as others said there's more proven options. Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST, Winchester Ranger Series, Hornady Critical Defense... Can't really go wrong if it functions reliably.
