80% Lower

This is my first time on the forums and I am looking for information regarding 80% lowers. I am looking into getting a jig and building my first AR. I have a few questions about CA laws for building your own guns and I am sure there is already some forum with tons of dialog on this topic and I was wondering if someone could post a link and point me in the right direction.

The law is more complicated for building an AR pistol than a rifle, but if you're just building a rifle the assembly part is the same as if you have a store bought lower. When you complete the 80% lower itself you need to do it yourself. There's threads on it you can search for, and most people here would be happy to answer a more specific question.
