    Where to buy CZ

Hey all, new to the forum...got into guns 20 years ago but been in hibernation due to life and kids. Just getting into it again, my S&W 9mm still looks great during the hiatus but would like to get another 9mm and/or 45. Heard CZ makes great guns, but they seem to on backorder on Sp-01 and 97B. Besides getting on a list, and waiting 3-8 months, are there places in Southern Cal that are getting them faster than other dealers. Turners told me 3-8 mos, not sure if that was a conservative time frame, or if they are coming sooner than that.

Any suggestions on where I should purchase would be helpful. Thanks All!

Contact Baboosh - Jamie @ 2AZone. They are a premier CZ dealer.
    C&R nut.

Welcome OP. Always nice to hear from a new member.

My first advice, do not listen to the crap propagated on the interwebz. There never was a shortage of CZ. Ignore the two other posts about CZ sp01 Lead Time and shortage.
The hoo-haw about the shortage is mainly because some guy can not find an SP01 or a 97B at his local General Store that also sells guns or some little gun shop that never even heard of the CZs until the recent fad picked up. A while back, I wanted a CZ97B in polished blue that is not even shipped into CA by CZ. It took all of 10 minutes to find one on Gunbroker and it was at my local dealer 3 days later, ready for SSE. So much for the Shortage and lead time.

Since you are getting back into it, get started the right way. There is a sticky on top of the forum with the name of just about all Calif gun shops/FFLs. Pick up the phone and start calling them from the nearest to you. You will find plenty of CZs. Now if they were all out of stock, look on Gunb roker or call some of the out of state vendors (look on the Calgun Vendors forum) and you will find anything you want if you are willing to pay an extra 50 to $75 bucks for shipping and receiving.

Now, do you really want one or just interested if you come across one at give away prices??
          Again, welcome and good luck.

Guns direct in Burbank had about 5 different types of CZs including a SP-01. When I purchased mine last Saturday, they said they still had plenty available (didn't give me an exact number).

Wow, 2AZone had Sp-01 stock, so happy I'm able to get one. Thanks for all the help. Seems the 97 model will be much harder to get. ☹️
