It's possible this will be considered a normal pistol by the Federal government and not an NFA or AOW item. Consider the Stinger Pen Gun, all other pen guns are AOW but since the Stinger has to be bent into the shape of a gun before it can fire it is considered recognizable as a gun and treated as any other pistol. So that same logic could apply to the Ideal Conceal Cell Phone gun. However, the ATF is not known for using logic. CA's laws most likely won't allow it because they are more vague on this issue and the AG probably won't clarify it until they charge someone.

I wouldn't use it. The only purpose I see this used for is carrying somewhere that prohibits it to disguise as a phone.

S&W bodyguard 380 is tiny when doing pocket carry. I'm personally not thrilled about the idea of having only 2 rounds.

Anyone having good results with the G42?

I like my G42 a lot, but to be honest my wife's KAHR P380 in an inch shorter and shoots just as well. G42 with mag extender does hold one more round.
