For those looking for a cheap AR

    Consider the AR180B

These where made with a polymer receiver that is known to crack and brake.

However Nodak Spud makes a aluminum replacement receiver.

So keep your eyes open you never know when you will see one.

    Good Hunting

That is why I mention OLL from Nodak

Lot of them out there with broken hinge tabs. The original polymer receiver tabs break if the user is not careful.

I expect ro see a lot coming up for sale as the polymer lower has a finite life span. Should be nearing end of life cycle.

Why aren't there (or maybe there are, and they're just not that popular) AR-180 clone kits out there? Plenty of AK, FAL, and G3 clones out there.
