    Pre Law Hype

    Just curious.

The typical pre law hype causes pricing to inflate. It is kind of surprising there are enough people to drive the hype especially here on a gun activist forum.

Has there ever been a selling hype? For example someone buys a firearm that is soon to be negatively impacted by the law and made difficult or even impossible to sell ... do people rush to sell?

What about ammo hoards? Are people hoarding so they have ammo to shoot or for speculation on hire prices; only to be banned from private sales ... Would there be an ammo fire sale?

I'm just curious if we might see the opposite hype in the near future....a selling frenzy?

When the "new" interpretations regarding Sig braces became known, there was a rush to unload them before it became known that you aren't supposed to use them like a stock.

Not much bargain pricing, but a ton of them went up for sale that afternoon.

That is what I'm wondering about. I saw a lot of CR weapons go on sale before the law required them to hit the FFL but that seemed mutual between buyers and sellers.

I will never have enough ammo, but I can't imagine what the flipper does if private sales of ammo become restricted or banned. I suppose he could always sell out of state.

I don't think the flipper needs to worry though because if that legislation passes all ammo purchases become restricted too so they will be in a better place then they are now as that dooms day nears.

Retailers will be sold out of ammo which will send people to the flippers which is exactly what they want.
