I have a hard time finding .223 locally too. You can always buy online, but you probably don't want 1000+ rounds.
If you just want a few boxes, I have an open case of Q3131 and a case of Federal AE223 on the way and i'll sell you a few boxes at reasonable prices.Comment

try ammobros.com. they sell their own reloads as well as a variety of factory rounds.Comment

I would have to say AMMO Bros. over in Cerritos. (about 3-5 miles east on the 95 from the 710 east of compton/paramount).
ammobros.com They don't keep a good list on their website. You can buy bulk wolf there 500 rounds for $75. Plus you don't get stiffed on paying shipping.
I believe they also got some FMJ Brass Cased reloaded ammo (GOOD if you shoot at a range as most won't allow steel cases).
They are your best bet for local Los Angeles, Whittier, Torrance, Longbeach area Supply.
To my knowledge they keep stock of several brands of ammunition. If you want some differnet factory loadouts you can also try turners. The one in Torrance/Redondo Beach off of Hawthorne Blvd has a large selection of ammo from different companies but their prices are a little more higher than Ammo Bros, they are signicantly more higher if you planned to buy in bulk. (Take the 405 south to the Hawthorne exit, go south [turn right off the freeway] and its right there. To the right of the washing mutual.)Last edited by VeryCoolCat; 07-23-2006, 11:25 PM.Originally posted by KestryllThe volume of blood necessary to achieve erection would cause you to either pass out or if you didn't and managed to maintain an erection you would likely die from lack of oxygen to the heart and brain.Originally posted by ivanimalJust be glad you are not his next door neighbor. Good luck finding any WWB anymore. I have been to nearly every walmart in the bay area and 4 in the Reno area. Multiple times I have been told that we won't be seeing any more WWB until the war is over. I did clean out all the walmarts I went to out of the Remington green box which was 4.89/20. Which is the same price as the WWB.Please, calm down.Comment

Yep, it's disappeared up here in the Redding/Red Bluff area too. I bought all the green box UMC .223 and the Federal value paks as well. I'll be going back today to buy anything that's left. Get it before it's gone.Originally posted by blkA4albGood luck finding any WWB anymore. I have been to nearly every walmart in the bay area and 4 in the Reno area. I've been collecting all my 9mm and .223 brass so that when I finally do get a reloader I'll have thousands of it to reloadOriginally posted by thmprThats the beauty of reloading.... Dont need to worry about what is on sale and if it is in stock....

Thats what I have been doing for the past 2 months. I normally ask if they reload and if the answer is no, I then ask if I can have the brass.... they are more than happy to say yes since they do not need to clean after themselves...=0)
Now the 69 grain SMK cost me about $150.00 for a thousand rounds rather than +$400.00. After 3000 rounds, the savings paid for my reloading equipment.
