Both my "blue" mossbergs have light rust on the barrel and tubes. Who does parkerizing so I can fix and prevent further rust. I love mossberg but the finish is a rust magnet.

If you REALLY don't want rust, go duracoat or ceracoat.
Otherwise Randall (AR15barrels) does Parkerizing and has tanks big enough for your barrel.

If you really want a first rate professional job. Ship it off to APPI. Really excellent first rate work, and fast turn around. He has done two of my 870's. Both came back perfect. Shipping a long gun is not an issue. Box it up and take it to the Post Office. To save money and ship a smaller package, you may want to consider taking the stock and forearm off and just ship the metal parts.Comment

Here is a pic of the barrel Randall did for me. Turned it down to a pencil style, and parkerized it.
