Another vote for a soft range bag. More convenient than a case. That way you can carry your eyes and ears and etc. in there.

If it has lockable zippers on some interior pockets (or removable lockable zippered slip cases) then you'd be able to comply with transport laws and still be able to get into the rest of the bag whenever you need to.

It's possible compartments for one gun would fit two of the guns you have now. I got this nice one at US Firearms in Sunnyvale a couple years ago:

That one looks nice and organized. Do you know the brand?

They had it "OEMed" to their specs with their only name on it. I always love dialing that phone number!

The interior bag can be removed entirely. Smith models 586 and 36 sold separately!

Generally a 4" to 6" revolver wants its own slip case, but two snubbies fit in one slipcase, and an exterior pocket accepts a slim one-gun hard case if need be.

get a Midway large range bag when they are on sale (got mine for $40 or $50, don't remember) and use gun socks:

buy the large rifle / shotgun gun sock and have the significant other sew them up to make 5 or 6 pistol sized ones.

That's not bad for the money. I paid $135 plus tax for the one pictured in my previous posts; I just found the receipt. But I'd replace the gun socks with pistol cases that have zippers you can lock. Not all of them have a ring or second zipper pull you can put a lock through. Otherwise in Cal you need to lock the whole bag, and then you can't get in there for grabbing your earplugs before getting out of the car near an outdoor range, etc.

I have one that is basically a locking metal briefcase. Winchester logo.

Or, you could just buy a metal briefcase (locking), gut the inside and put foam in it. Will easily fit the 4 guns you mention.

I am a fan of the soft case also. It looks less like a gun case, and more like a computer bag.

I've had a variety of range bags & cases. If you do go with an inexpensive soft bag, make sure you read a lot of reviews on the product first. Soft bags/cases can tear easy when overloaded. The most economical bag isn't always the best choice.

A little spendy, but I really like my G.P.S. shooter's backpack.

I got tired of digging through my duffle type range bag looking for all the crap I take with me, and these bags are very well thought out with dedicated compartments for your eyes, ears, stapler, mag organizers, etc.

Throw some ammo in and I'm good to go.

Kinda' heavy when loaded, but not too bad as a backpack, and everything's in the one bag. (except the rifles)

Soft case for rifles here. One for each. I tried getting 2 or three in a combo case, but that gets very heavy fast.
