I was reading my roadracer x mag and there is an article in there about Colin Edwards being home in Texas and getting in on the gun buying frenzy, he talks about getting a ar style rifle, beretta carbine, kimber 1911, and a couple other guns
just wondering if any body else saw this?

That's pretty cool. However, maybe he should spend more time riding and less time shooting and he'd be better in GP

Have not seen it because I MotoGP is on break right now and I have not been reading up on things. I don't doubt him being a gun owner; he is from Texas after all.
Met him twice and he is a genuinely nice guy. I cheer him on and it really sucks he hasn't been consistent the last racing season.

He is pretty cool for sure, talked to him on the phone a bunce, but only met face to face 1 or 2 times.

Although, if you're looking for a Non-Gun owner in Texas you'll have to go to Austin. Damn Hippies and Ex-Californians!

I agree 100% with the guns and bikes. I have the one and only babe, that puts up with the first two and still loves me. I was at Laguna, a few years ago, my avatar is from turn 2.

Turn 1, I dont really call it a turn but coming 160 off the straight, can f you up. You unload the suspension, and go light, not as weightless as the screw. Nothing compares to that feeling.

Well, turn 1 VS. turn 2....long time debate there. Back before they took out the straight between the now turn two and turn five in the mid-80's...those were the good old days. The current turn one isn't really a turn at all. Oh well, the powers that be thought we couldn't handle such a fast track back then, but the new configuration has WAY more crashes. Go figure.

We're 'safer' now and the nearby residents complain more. Progress?

do you guy's do any racing or just track days
I used to do some club stuff in the afm and a whole lot of track days, I've got about 45 days in at laguna alone, talk about world class
I hope Nicky gets on that duck and shows the world that us americans dont F around!!!!!
looking forward to next season
