I'm in stockton ca. I have an 80% lower ar15 style.
Any one out there have tooling near me in which I can rent time on to complete my project... I been out the game for a minute or two

The minute or two you have been gone the ATF ruled you can no longer rent tools or machine time to complete a firearm.

You will need to buy the tooling and jig and do it yourself. Lots of people on here really like the 80% arms jig since you can use a router.

The Gen 1 AR-15 Easy Jig® is perfect for precision machining of your 80% lower receiver. Order an 80% lower receiver router jig for yourself right here!

if your poor then its cheaper to buy a stripped lower and do the 10 day wait through a ffl

jigs, tools all that costs money

It probably works out about the same on a pure cost basis. With the 80%, there is no DROS, safety test, mandatory purchase of an overpriced trigger lock, taxes and other misc fees and costs that typically accompany a 100%

Unless you value your privacy and want to do the 80% to maintain that privacy... But that is what credit cards are for!
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

Until AB 1663 becomes law, then you will have to serialize your homemade AR and register it with the state.

Big difference between CC purchases and the new long gun registrations.

Legally, that can only be done by a Type 07-FFL and after they do it, they must mark/engrave their info on it and transfer (4473/DROS/10 day wait) it to you.

If you are not using a Type 07-FFL, then in order to be legal, you must mill out (complete) the "80% receiver", using your own tools to do so.
