Which Holster?

I have a xd40 id like to holster IWB and OWB I would like 2 holsters, one for carry and the other for frontsight training.

For IWB I've had good luck with the Don Hume 715-M holsters. For OWB I prefer a Fobus Roto-paddle.

Honestly, holsters are try and error for everyone. You will have better chance when buying well known brand from popular company. However, you just have to pick and see if it works for you.

For IWB, I like crossbreed hybrid holster...
Very comfortable, little big and ugly, but super comfortable.

For IWB holsters, usually single clip holsters are smaller than dual clip holsters, but thicker. Dual clip holsters are bigger than single clip, but usually thinner and more secure.

For OWB holsters...
If you are planning to use it for range and competition only. Hard to go wrong with straight drop holster for speed. However, if you are planning to use it for conceal carry as well. You might want to invest on FBI Cant owb holsters.
