After playing Fallout 1,2, and 3...I pretty much have given up hope on surviving any SHTF scenario

Well I went out and bought a couple hundred rounds of wolf ammo. I know most ranges don't allow the stuff, so I pretty much just bought it just to have it.

Of all the major (likely) SHTF scenarios, just how many do we all figure will involve extended firefights? More than a few mags of ammo is impractical (heavy) and generally unnecessary (IMHO). I mean after you shoot the first (few?) looters, etc. just how many "waves" are we expecting?

Seriously. In most of these so-called "Scenarios" you're going to have to use guerilla style warfare. That means packing light and traveling fast!

Those damn zombies on the other hand, I don't know. I'm waiting for the next outbreak to happen.
