    PPT questions?

    Have a buddy from texas who is selling a gun he just moved here and is in process of getting his id has paper from dmv now question is would I be able to do ppt with him with gun being from Texas or how would it work. Thanks

    Did he fill out the OPLAW form? Either way he needs a California ID to PPT and he has to have residency.

        He cant do it with temp id and does he have to register it here in cali first or we can do it still being from texas

            I believe it is California law that he has a certain amount of time to register with Cali. It's called the OPLAW form and it costs $19 for as many guns as he has. I am not sure how the registration would work but they won't transfer till he has his ID. Just register it and play it safe.

                Not OPLAW form; use the New Resident form.

                Once he has CA ID, he can either register OR sell.

                  Called Gunshop they will do transfer as long as he has his Cal ID so just gonna wait till he recieves it in about a week thanks for replys appreciate it
