Final got my scope down hugging my rifle more.

I was able to ship back a sure fire muzzle break my wife got me for Xmas and I ordered tps low mounts. Man what a difference. Now I have a set of high millet 35mm rings just sitting in a box. Looking for a home.

You need a good cheek piece now.

Tactical Operations Stock Pack is made in the USA with rugged materials and quality craftsmanship. The TacOps pad is built for a solid comfortable no-slip cheek weld and has built in storage. The pouch is ideal for small tools, extra parts, CQB knife and/or first aid. Perfect for the bench or in the field. Outside of the pouch you can hold 8 rounds of ammo and a separate slot for a range card.

These guys are awesome and they are made in Hollywood Cal.

Throw some specs on that nice rifle you have there.

I know this is an old picture, but I think this is the tightest I've ever gotten a scope to a rifle. It had MAYBE a millimeter.

Before I lowered mine it was something stupid like .650 of an inch if not higher. I managed to take it down at least 1/2 an inch. I don't think I'll go with 35mm next time. There isn't a whole lot of options out there. 34 on the other hand had more.

Hey sir toast nice rifle and nice case. Pelican I take it. My buddy was jealous I bought one last year. He has had a 338 without a case for that long. He tried buying one but wasn't long enough. I went ahead and bought him one for Xmas

Here's how to get a low scope, start with a small scope. The eyepiece just clears the mount base.

I knew a guy who got the lowest mounts he could for his bolt rifle then he realized after he put it on, that the bolt would not clear the scope. He got a lot of ribbing for that.

Is that a 32mm objective? My tube is bigger than that. Lol.

LOL. Yeah it's a small one. The ocular lens is bigger than the objective lens. It's a cool scope though and is plenty clear. I got tied of lugging big scopes around. I thought my big Nightforce was/is pushing the envelope so I wanted to try something smaller.

My buddy has Leopold hog hunter. It about the same size. Not a scope for short distance. Doesn't go with a 338 lapua though.

That scope is a 2.5X10 first focal plane, perfect for fun shooting with a 243. More power is cool but 10 power can do quite a bit.
