I was having a discussion today with a friend and another friend who's LEO and I had seen a mac-10 (Or Ajaxarms 10) and some 80 percent AR's and things like that. I couldn't find much from here for searching out the laws on the 80 percent builds and manufacturing your own stuff. How is it that people are able to work around the laws and where can I find specific places that say what is what. Any help would be great.

atf website has info on 80% builds. as long as your not a felon and not prohibited from owning or possesing a firearm, then its ok to build as long as it ok in your state to have. -
