    "Pistol" marked lowers

Anyone see a problem building a rifle based on a "pistol" marked lower?

Edited: nevermind. . . answered my own question.

Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

No - nothing illegal about configuring a handgun as a rifle, of course you can not legally reconfigure it as a handgun. But I'm curious, in CA, can you get dinged for having an unregistered "handgun" if it is now in rifle configuration?

I didn't want to make an assumption one way or another as to whether it was purchased in state as a handgun or if it happened to otherwise arrive in state. If the lower was manufactured and 4473'd as a handgun in Oklahoma and marked "pistol" and it hasn't been DROS'd/registered in CA as a handgun I don't know if configuring it as a rifle relieves one of having to had registered it.

This lower was drosed as a longgun not a pistol. After looking at the paperwork I answered my own question.
