FFL's near San Jose

I'm trying to find a nice low cost FFL for some internet purchases and I can't believe that the list on the FFL post (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=63050) is that accurate.

Can you all help update that post or just let me know what is available? $50 to $75 per item + DROS fee's seem's high. One shop I asked wanted $75 transfer + $25 for something + $25 DROS + 5% of total gun cost = screw that!

That is a bid high and includes extortion surcharges.

It should be around $50 to $75 for receiving + $25 Dros and tax. I agree with the answer you came up with.

Just start calling them from the nearest to you out and you will find a reasonable one.

I have been using Roger's Relics in Santa Clara for years, no problems with them. I don't think they have retired yet.

You will NOT find a better guy for Transfers. I've bought 3 guns directly from him and two transfers (1 from FL and 1 from So Cal).

Rob Blank at RMB Enterprises in Milpitas. $40 (transfer) + $25 (dros) = $65.
I don't know what he charges for additional items dros'ed at the same time.

Chris Chambers did indeed shut down Digital Instincts in 2015.

Peter Skinner at Mount Pleasant Arms is indeed the real deal. I don't know of anyone else in the area whose FFL rates are comparable.

I didn't like using Roger's Relics, but that's a personal thing. No idea what their rates are these days.

As mentioned above, Rob Blank gets a lot of good reviews.

+1 for Peter @MPArms. He's my go to FFL for transfers and I've also purchased quite a bit from him as well.
