    Wait time before selling

Long story short: I recently bought a firearm via PPT because of some of the spare goodies it came with. I already own a firearm just like it, so the plan was to sell the new one all along. My question is, how long would you keep the gun before selling? I may have a buyer lined up already, but would like to avoid popping up on any sort of radar for turning around and selling something I just took into my possession.

Unless you're someone who gets to take advantage of buying off the approved list, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you are someone who can take advantage of buying off the approved list, I'd delete this thread.

No, just a regular guy. I don't normally sell any of my firearms, and was just wondering if I was setting myself up for any issues. Thanks for your response.

I imagine that if you aren't doing this frequently AND you are transferring it through an FFL there shouldn't be any issue.

Just be prepared to answer why you are selling it.

As a buyer, I checked the history of my most recent gun through two CGers.
All I did was ask the guy I bought it from why he was selling it so quickly.
(He beat me to the sale the first time.)

Answer: Not shooting .22 any more was good enough for me, esp. since the gun came with 400 rounds.

The gun looked good so I bought it.

Just got back from shooting it 15 minutes ago.
          Very happy.
