Are you sure you are fitting them properly? When I put mine in they don't fit right then you push them and they should readjust.

The Impacts? I had the same issue a while ago - couldn't get them to fit comfortably at all and had to return them.

Not everyone's head is shaped the same. Get some other ear pro.

Make sure the cup(s) can rotate freely in the arms. If you don't pull the cups down far enough it'll interfere with the band, causing gaps between the lower part of the cup and your head.

I have a pair of Impact Sports and they are not very comfortable for me either. I need to get some Peltor electronic ears sometime.

I have a very small noggin and the Impact Sports hurt like hell. They're way too tight. I can only take it for an hour or two. I have no idea how people with big heads wear them without screaming in pain.

I have the same issue with the Inpact Sports not creating a good seal. I went with the newer Peltor ones that are the equivalent and they work great and have deeper cups to make a better seal around my ears.

Mine fit a little "weird" in the beginning as well, small gap on the bottom of the left side. Had to tweak the rods connecting the headpiece to the muffs.

I'm sure you've discovered that the "muffs" which cover the ear pull down on the two metal "rods" that connect them to the headpiece. Mine only fit when they're extended all the way out. If I wear a thick beanie hat on cold days, I can't use them because they gap where you mention.

Mine are good for outdoor shotgunning, but I don't use them without foam plugs while indoors or when shooting centerfire rifles.
