why is everyone dumping there vortex viper scopes?

My guess is that they're upgrading to the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x for less money.

Vortex has a no questions asked life time warranty.. So their resale value is top tier. I've got a gen1 stryke fire its not bad.
