      I think the Howard Leights are the best for the money and you can't go wrong there. The electronics stopped working in mine after about 2 years and HL said they couldn't be repaired so I started researching others. I ended up getting a pair of Peltor Tac Sports then replaced the cups with optional gel cups. Super comfortable and very effective. They cost me about $100 more than the HL's but for me they were worth it.

        Thanks again for all the suggestions.

        Went ahead and ordered the HL Impact Pro...and tossed in a Streamlight TLR4 just for good measure
