Your Guns & Ammo Predictions for 2016... :-]

I've seen a few predictions already (like 2015 will be the last year of sub-25-cents-per-round 7.62x39 ammo, etc.), but I am curious what your predictions are...??

We have some sharp cookies and tremendous experience here at CG (w/booms and busts & election cycles), so I would like to tap into this collective wisdom to help us put our $$$ in the right place in 2016.

So, what say you about the New Year as far as G&A go??

We have endured scare, after scare, regulation after regulation, and I think next Nov. and December we will witness something new.....panic selling at great prices with Trump headed to the White House and threatening states like CA to eliminate things stupid like rosters, AWBs, mag restrictions, etc....

Ammo price will go up until after elections. If Democrat wins I predict ammo/parts will stay priced higher for a longer period of time post elections.

We have survived panic after panic, but I think it will keep happening. The modern gun owner who isn't a part of the NRA, owns an AR15+glock, and keeps 200 rounds of "surplus" at home; is never going to learn. They will keep waiting until a panic before they care enough to buy more.

CA will be in perpetual semi panic until 2030. Prices will only drop if we win handgun roster, 10 day wait period, or federal legislation is passed.

This is what I think too, but it might only get worse, a lot worse.

Sounds like you started New Years a little early.

Election year, so things will get more expensive. You can close this thread now.

Curious why you are saying this. I have my ideas, but I am wondering what your reasoning is.

My predictions for guns and ammo in 2016 are that I will buy more of each.

I predict that driven by cost cutting measures, the FBI HRT will adopt the Hi-Point 9mm in pink cammo and is quickly followed by Larry Vickers who begins working with Hi-point on a "Vickers Hi-Point tactical in FDE"! Hi-Point owners around the country will rejoice in finally being recognized as "cutting edge operators" and bemoan the capital gains taxes they have to pay, reaping HUGE profits in the CalGuns classifieds as they "monetize" their Hi-point positions.

You clearly don't know any of the liberal majority in any of California's major population centers. They will vote for whomever has the "D" next to their name.

I can't claim to have met every liberal in the state.

                              But

Im 24 years old im surrounded by people just out of institutionalized indoctrination i mean college and literally none of them like her. Which means those millions of blacks, mexicans and 18-24 year olds that showed up for 2008 and 2012 will not show up. Voter enthusiasm is real.

Anything is possible but generally she will be easy to tear apart in the general election and yeah she'll probably still win CA NY and other completely blue states but for the most part no one will go out of their way to vote for her UNLESS they are voting against Trump.
